Onzie Yoga Activewear

Onzie is a company known for their "free-flow" fabrics that are durable and breathable.  Their philosophy is "keep your practice challenging, and your wardrobe simple."  They design Leggings, Shorts, Bras, and Tank tops for Bikram and hot yoga.

Onzie Fashion

Onzie has an amazing line of unique and fun workout wear that are well suited for anything that involves movement and sweat such as running, Pilates, Zumba or Hooping.  Their clothes comes in beautiful solids and fun prints that change with the season.  Two of my favorite pieces are Onzie Galaxy Yoga Leggings, and Peacock Side-string Shorts.

What I like is the fact that you can easily mix and match pieces when you want a new look.  Many of their supportive sports bras and tanks often have sexy, strappy designs to make you look and feel good while hooping.

Functional Design Features

Onzie uses a combination of nylon and spandex to make clothing very much similar to swimsuit material.  Here are some of the features.

  • Full-flex, breathable fabric
  • Gusseted crotch (to keep camel toe at bay)
  • Will hold their shape throughout your workout

I love the fact that they use "free-flowing" fabrics similar to a swimsuit type of material because it dries fast to keep your body cool, dry and comfortable.

Onzie clothing is designed for minimal coverage so you don't have anything weighing you down or keeping the heat in.  I think minimal coverage is perfect for hooping on bare skin or performing shoulder and leg hooping.

Many of their pieces come in one size, but because of their great stretch their clothes can fit a wide variety of sizes.  Many reviewers of Onzie's products say pretty much the same thing - "Feels like a second skin once you put them on."

Great to wear as everyday wear.  And, Onzie is 100% made in the USA.
